Marine Conservation Volunteers
Volunteer - Travel Expenses Paid
Volunteers with an interest in marine wildlife conservation are required to help undertake surveys of the coastline of Essex in a new marine project called ‘Shoresearch’. Volunteers will be trained to identify and record the marine animals, plants and habitats found on our coast. This information will be used to monitor the state of the marine environment and enable important decisions to be made on coastal issues. The first Shoresearch event in Essex is taking place at 11am on Saturday 3rd November 2007 at West Mersea. This is a great opportunity to get involved with wildlife conservation and to make a difference!
