Volunteer with Essex Wildlife Trust

Protect Wildlife for the Future

Essex Wildlife Trust is committed to protecting wildlife for the future through its 87 nature reserves, one nature park, seven visitor centres and management of 7,250 acres of land.  We are the leading conservation charity in Essex, and more than 2,000 volunteers help us every year across the county, doing a huge variety of volunteer work.

We want to hear from people like you, regardless of the amount of time you have available.  You may be looking for a social activity, work experience, to get fit, learn more about wildlife, or simply have a passion for the Trust's work and want to be part of it.  Whatever your reasons, we will do our best to find the right opportunity for you.  Don't worry if you are not an expert - we will provide the training you need.

"I enjoy myself so much I've just asked if I can double my hours!"
