What's on

Our visitor centres organise a regular programme of events and activities for adults and families. The Trust has fourteen Local Groups across the county that organise a programme of walks and talks for local members. Non-members are welcome at these events. Booking is essential for most centre events, so make sure you call or visit the centre in advance to avoid disappointment.

    Our weekly group for the under 5's - Child led play in our lovely woodland. Get messy, make some noise & enjoy being outside. Booking is essential and places are limited so please ring the Centre on 01206 729678 to book your place. Donation requested £6.00 per child. Children must be accompanied.

    Venue: Ingrebourne Valley Visitor Centre, Hornchurch Country Park, Squadrons Approach

    Join local naturalist Dave McGough on a walk around Hornchurch Country Park and the surrounding Living Landscape to experience the fantastic array of wildlife that the valley holds. Suitable for beginners. Binoculars and scopes will be available to use. Meet at the visitor centre. Every 2nd Saturday of the month.

    Venue: Tiptree Heath Nature Reserve, Maldon Road, Tiptree Essex

    Winter work parties will start in October , once a month on a Sunday. Please wear old clothes suitable for the weather conditions and sturdy footwear. Bring a drink and snack for the break.
