What's on

Our visitor centres organise a regular programme of events and activities for adults and families. The Trust has fourteen Local Groups across the county that organise a programme of walks and talks for local members. Non-members are welcome at these events. Booking is essential for most centre events, so make sure you call or visit the centre in advance to avoid disappointment.

    Jo Roberts, CEO of Wilderness Foundation, will talk about its work, both in Essex and further afield, and describe how the charity has become a leader in the use of wild spaces to help transform vulnerable people’s lives. (This charity was 1/7 chosen by Prince Harry and Megan Markle to receive donations in place of wedding gifts).

    Meet in Mill Lane at the beginning of the short footpath to EWT’s Sandylay & Moat Woods Nature Reserve, Great Leighs (limited parking along the road edge).
