Make enamelled pieces to take home

Learn the ancient art of Enamelling – fusing glass to metal using a table top kiln – which is ideal for jewellery making. In this one day course, your tutor Toni Peers; who has been teaching crafts for over 10 years and is a member of the Guild of Essex Craftsmen, will guide you through the basics of Enamelling. We will look at wet packing, sifting and applying media to pre-cut copper blanks. Wonder at the changes in colour as the enamelled pieces cool down. For those that have attended Toni’s classes in the past, there will be an opportunity to add to the skills learnt in previous classes.

By the end of this session you will have made around 3 enamelled pieces depending on your choice of design. All materials provided.

Places are limited so please call 01206 738172 to book your place to avoid being disappointed.

Cost includes all materials.
