About the event

We are offering drop-off days for children aged 5-11 years old, in small, isolated groups (maximum of 5), Make shelters and climb trees, use natural materials for crafts and more. Each group is led by an experienced Forest School leader.

Our programme will help to build confidence, enhance self-esteem and develop social skills.

Drop off and pick up point will be outside the visitor centre from 9.00am-4.00pm each day. Toilets will be available at the visitor centre.  All children must be signed in and out by an appropriate adult.

A child consent form must be completed for each child attending.

We are working within current COVID Government guidelines and will update our practices accordingly, in response to any changes in this advice.  All our activities are fully risk assessed and a copy of our COVID risk assessment is available on request. If, under these guidelines, it is necessary for us to cancel the event, we will contact you to reschedule or refund as appropriate.

What to bring

Children will need to come suitably dressed for the weather, as we will be outside all day. Please provide them with a packed lunch and any other food and drink for the day.
