About the event

Forest School is a specialised, play-based series of sessions that hand over learning to children while being facilitated by a trained leader. As a result, they thrive from the real-life experiences that occur in the stimulating woodland.

We are currently offering Forest School sessions for children who are home educated as a block booking for the term. This is to encourage the same group to work together at each session as part of our Covid safe procedures. The sessions will take place weekly, starting on Tuesday 10th November until 15th December (6 sessions).

Dates: 10, 17, 24 November 1, 8, 15 December

Suitable for children of primary school age. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please come suitably dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the whole session.

Meet at the entrance to Chigwell Meadow opposite Grange Farm Centre car park.

Advance booking essential. You only need to book a place for the child attending and not the accompanying adult.

Please help to protect our staff and other members by not attending any of these events if you or anyone in your household is feeling ill or have symptoms of Covid-19.

We are working within current COVID Government guidelines and will update our practices accordingly, in response to any changes in this advice.  All our activities are fully risk assessed and a copy of our COVID risk assessment is available on request. If, under these guidelines, it is necessary for us to cancel the event, we will contact you to reschedule or refund as appropriate.
