Recycle and raise vital funds

Recycle your unwanted items to help protect our planet, and raise money at the same time. Kickstart your recycling journey by donating:

How to Recycle?

There are designated clothes recycling bins at our Hanningfield and Chafford Gorges Nature Discovery Centres, and at our Head Office located at Abbotts Hall Farm, Great Wigborough. (Please note the building is currently closed to the public).  

Nature Discovery Centres

Please ensure bras are separated from other donated clothing. These can be dropped off at any of our Nature Discovery Centres. 

To recycle your jewellery, watches, currency, stamps, electronics (including mobile phones), tablets, old camera equipment and game consoles, please download a free postage label or request a sack and free collection.

Support from your local stores and supermarkets

Many stores and supermarkets help to support their local communities by offering customers the chance to choose a charity of their choice to receive a donation.

How can you help?
You can nominate Essex Wildlife Trust as your chosen charity when you see us as a candidate in your local shop.

Find your nearest store online or visit in person to complete a nomination form. You can find some of the current supermarket schemes below.

ASDA Green Token Giving
Asda select three local causes every three months to receive either a £500 or £200 donation.
