Graham Mee presented his own photographs from his own nature reserve.

An interesting talk by RSPB's Graham Mee depicted his very own nature reserve, his back garden in Leigh-on-sea. He demonstrated what can be done in suburbia with the right plants, feeders and critically, water. The plants attract the insects which attract the birds A word of caution when buying peanuts for the feeder though, those produced in Asia may carry a fungus harmful to birds. Graham found that sunflower hearts were welcomed by most birds. Graham also discovered that a few monkey nuts is enough to satisfy his squirrel visitor and stop it raiding the feeders.
