Joining the Trust step 1: choose online or by mail

We ask you to complete a Direct Debit instruction to pay your annual membership fee to the Trust, and you can do this either by post or online. For either, you will need to provide your bank or building society name and account number, sort code and branch address, all of which can be found in your cheque book. You can set up your Direct Debit online only if you are the account holder and you are the only person required to authorise debits from the account, by clicking Join Online below. If more than one person is required to authorise (or if you prefer to do it this way), you can print your on-screen Direct Debit instruction and post it to us – to do this please click Join by Mail below.

 

Whichever method you use, all the normal Direct Debit safeguards apply. No changes in the amount, date or frequency to be debited can be made without notifying you at least 14 working days in advance of your account being debited. In the event of any error you are entitled to an immediate refund and you have the right to cancel a Direct Debit instruction at any time simply by writing to your Bank or Building Society, with a copy to us.
