LOCATION: Various locations throughout the county.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Planning Conservation Officer
Anyone can get involved in recording marine life on our Essex Coastline. Shoresearch is our seashore recording and surveying project, in which volunteers identify and record what they find on the shore. The project will help to identify the habitats and wildlife that exist along our coastline - an excellent way to learn new survey and identification skills whilst helping to understand and protect our local shores.
We will be running 5 Shoresearch events this year at locations throughout Essex.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys meeting and talking to people. Previous retail or customer facing work would be an advantage but not essential as full training is given. This volunteering position needs to fit into the existing centre volunteer rota.
