Local Groups
If you are a member of Essex Wildlife Trust you can get involved with your Local Trust Group. Our Local Groups raise the profile of the Trust in their communities and have always been at the core of the Trust's work. Our 13 groups carry out all manner of fundraising activities and events including nature reserve Open Days, as well as recruiting new members, local publicity, work parties, evening talks and magazine deliveries.
If you would like to join like-minded people and support us through your Local Group, you'll need to contact your local representative. You could find yourself delivering magazines three times a year, making cakes for an Open Day, or serving as a Committee member - the possibilities are endless!
"It's great to know that my involvement is influencing my local community and changing people's lives"
