GO4GREEN sign up your company and focus on your local Essex environment and wildlife to support World Environment Day on Tuesday 5th June 2008.

Come to the Langdon Visitor Centre on Tuesday 22nd April from 14:00 to 16:00 for a walk around the reserve, visit the 1930's Haven plotlands museum and learn about the plotlands history.
We will be doing our Nightingale walk in 2008, put a date in your diary for Thursday 1st May at 19:30 to 21:00hrs
We will be having a bat evening during 2008 at our Hanningfield reserve on 25th September starting at 20:00hrs
This great reserve visit will be held on Sunday 18th May, from 10:30 to 16:00hrs, it is open to all the family, there are childrens stalls, walks to see the Avocets, and much more.
There will be another great Charity Golf Day in 2008, it will be at the great Warren Golf Course, Woodham Walter, on Tuesday 10th June. Book early and /or sponsor a hole.
We have a barge trip each year on one of the great old sailing barges out of Maldon on Wednesday 17th September, from 12:00 to 15:15, our wild life experts will be on board to point out things of interest and help bring people together.
Bat Evening
Hanningfield Visitor Centre has a bat evening on Thursday 25th September for Corporate Members, listen to the fascinating life of the bat, the many variants, participate in a roost count, observe bats emerging from hides and the buildings and use bat detectors to track their flights.
Abbotts Hall History Day
Join us at Abbotts Hall farm on Sunday 12th October (time to be advised) for guided walks and learn about the 4,000 year history of the farm from henges to Zeppelins.
