Fantastic Forest Schools
Essex Wildlife Trust now has 3 education officers who have completed their Forest School Level 3 Practitioner Award. Forest Schools involves regular visits to a local area of woodland where activities are planned in conjunction with the school curriculum. Research has shown this inspirational approach helps develop confidence, self-esteem, emotional and social skills whilst developing a connection and respect for the natural environment.

Get closer to nature with Essex Wildlife Trust
The BBC has initiated a campaign over three years called Breathing Places. A Breathing Place is somewhere you can escape the hassles of everyday life, get your hands dirty, listen to birdsong and admire the natural world. Essex Wildlife Trust is extremely grateful to Aggregate Industries who have funded the Breathing Places campaign, and here in Essex have allowed us to produce a new leaflet promoting Essex Wildlife Trust.
