Remember A Charity Week

It’s Remember A Charity Week; this is a national campaign with charities around the country, including Essex Wildlife Trust, that promotes Will writing and legacy giving.

Did you know a massive 40% (200-250k) people die each year without writing a Will?

Having a Will takes away a massive burden for family and friends. It gives clear instructions providing direction at a time when others are in a fog of grief.

A Will is important if you are over 18 years old. It does not need to be complicated. Many people say, “I do not have anything worth writing one for”. If you have a bank account, that is a good enough reason alone, especially if it is joint with someone you are not married to. I have heard of many sad situations over the years where if a Will was written the wishes of the deceased would have happened but sadly didn’t and a lot of pain and upset to loves ones occurred as a rest of this.

If you are due to revise or create a Will then you may want to be aware that we have some great promotions available to Essex Wildlife Trust supporters all year round that save you money and give you peace of mind. If you would like to know more about the Will promotions or to discuss a potential legacy then please call me, Rosalyn Leclercq – Legacy Officer on 01621 862987 or 07725 604 071
