It was a privilege to welcome Chris Packham to Abbotts Hall Farm for a special sold-out fundraising event.

More than 600 people attended a special fundraising evening with Chris Packham at Abbotts Hall Farm. Chris Packham is a hugely respected naturalist, wildlife campaigner and broadcaster, who has presented BBC Springwatch since 2009. His stories and adventures span the seven corners of the globe, while here in the UK he is passionate about standing up for wildlife and helping to protect our environment for the future.

Chris (and his dog Scratchy) used photography and anecdotes to transport the audience on many of his adventures, before bringing his attention back to the UK and highlighting that, now more than ever, there is a need for everyone to help the wildlife and countryside they love. Chris encouraged audience members to support Essex Wildlife Trust and everyone left feeling inspired to do more to help protect Essex’s wildlife.

Thank you to everyone who came to this sold-out event and helped raise vital funds for Essex Wildlife Trust, we hope everyone who attended is now even more determined to do their bit to help our county’s beloved wildlife and wild places.
