Stop a Local Wildlife Site from becoming a data centre
Arena Essex Raceway is a Local Wildlife Site home to a mosaic of rare habitats and species. Over 687 invertebrates, including the rarest bumblebee in the UK, the Shrill Carder Bee, and 439 plant species can be found here. It includes key priority habitats, including Thames Terrace Grassland, one of the rarest habitats in the UK.
Used by the community for decades, the bikes and the bees thrived together, and people were able to enjoy the green space.
Now, Google wants to build a hyperscale data centre campus here.
Help us stand up for nature, to save Arena Essex Raceway from destruction.
