Recycle your bras with us!

The Essex Wildlife Trust Wheel of Fortune

Donate your bras at any of our visitor centres and save them from landfill.

It is Recycle Week, and we are offering you the opportunity to do a good deed by donating your old bras! Donate to selected visitor centres across the county and you can be sure you are supporting people and wildlife. Bras are processed to be sold at a reduced price overseas, in parts of the world where they can often be in short supply. This also saves them from landfill and raises funds for wildlife in the process.

  • Save bras from landfill
  • Give people the opportunity to access affordable bras
  • Raise important funds for the Essex Wildlife Trust

Did you know? You can also raise funds for the Trust through some of our other recycling schemes. These include:

  • Currency and stamps - we can process old or foreighn coins and notes. They can be donated at our visitor centres or posted to us at Abbotts Hall Farm, Maldon Road, Great Wigborough, Colchester CO5 7RZ.
  • Clothing and Textiles - we can recycle your old clothes, bed linen, shows, handbags and towels so please drop them off un our designated textile bins at Hanningfield, Thorndon or Chafford Hundred visitor centres.
  • Jewellery - donate your old or broken jewellery and watches (including costume jewellery) and we can recycle them. Drop them off ay any of visitor centres or contact us for more information.

Donations are welcome at all visitor centres. Would you like to get involved? Contact Claire Rodie on clairer@essexwt.org.uk for more information.
