September has been a busy month at Abberton.
October has been another mild month on the whole with lots of nice birds around
November has been a bit wetter than October and the nights are drawing in since the clocks went back.
December has been quite wet so far but this has been a good thing for tree planting, and the ranger and volunteers have already planted 1,170 of the 4,050 to plant this winter.
