About the event

Join us as we look for signs of summer in our wonderful woodland. Explore for signs of summer, make a nest for the birds, swing in the hammock, dig in the mud kitchen, hunt for bugs, or create a craft - there's something for the whole family to enjoy in the woods.  (Please note we are unable to hold fires at our Belfairs events due to council restrictions).  

Please come dressed for the weather.  We recommend long sleeves and covered legs even in hot weather to protect against bites and stings.  No sandals or open-toed shoes please.  Toilets, drinks, snacks and lunch avaialabe in the Centre. 

Please note we are unable to have fires at Belfair's Woods due to restrictions posed upon us by Southend Borough Council.

Suitable for all ages. Advance booking essential. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please come suitably dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the whole session. Meet outside the visitor centre on arrive - please ensure you leave enough time for parking we are unable to wait for late arrivals.
