Our Urban Wildlife Champions are a vital part in helping us to achieve nature’s recovery by restoring, reconnecting and protecting our green, blue and brownfield spaces in our cities, towns and villages.

Urban Wildlife Champions are people in our cities, towns and villages that want to take action for wildlife in their local community. They are people who have a community-led, grassroots project idea and want to be part of our wilder Essex vision. Whatever your idea we will join you on your journey, supporting you with training and resources, connecting you with other champions, celebrating and promoting your work.
