About the event

We need YOUR help to survey cow wheat and gather information for the conservation of the Heath fritillary, a rare and enigmatic butterfly.
This session will outline why cow wheat is so important, how to survey it and how you can use a mobile phone app to record where cow wheat is growing across the landscape, from Westwood to Hockley Woods.
There will be a walk around Hadleigh Great Wood to discuss the management and to practice using the app.
Refreshments will be provided.
