About the event

Join us as we go on a bug hunt through the trees and grass to see who has been calling it home. Using our special bug sweeping nets and tree beating equipment, we’ll sweep through the grass, shake some tree branches, and see who we can find! 🔎🐞

Please come dressed for the weather.  We recommend long sleeves and covered legs, even in hot weather, to protect against bites and stings.  No sandals or open-toed shoes please. 

This event is suitable for all ages. Please kindly note that this is a family event and all attendees, including both adults and children, will require a ticket to attend. Advance booking is essential and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please allow time for parking, as we are unable to wait for late arrivals. 

Please note we are unable to have fires at Belfair's Woods due to restrictions imposed upon us by Southend Borough Council.
