About the event
The site holds large numbers of wintering wildfowl and waders and is a magnet for visiting raptors, including short- and long-eared owls, hen harriers and peregrines.
The site is very exposed with little shelter, so appropriate clothing and footwear is essential if you are to enjoy the visit fully.
Meet in car park at Kingshill Farm (off Sheppey Way) at 10.00. Optional visit to Capel Fleet raptor watch-point in the afternoon.
