About the event

Whether you’re a family of den-building experts or newbies to den building, come join us in Belfairs woodland to learn different ways to make a den, or show off the skills you already have! 

Please come dressed for the weather.  We recommend long sleeves and covered legs, even in hot weather, to protect against bites and stings.  No sandals or open-toed shoes, please. 

This event is suitable for all ages. Please kindly note that this is a family event and all attendees, including both adults and children, will require a ticket to attend. Advance booking is essential, and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please allow time for parking, as we are unable to wait for late arrivals. 

Please note we are unable to have fires at Belfair's Woods due to restrictions imposed upon us by Southend Borough Council.
