About the event

Meet at our lovely little reserve at Stow Maries Halt, a former railway station adjacent to a First World War air base, a site steeped in history and reclaimed by nature. 

Join our community ranger for a gentle potter in the fresh summer air, hopefully, weather permitting, to encounter some of the special butterflies and other beautiful and curious insects which call this special little 2 hectare reserve home.  

Thanks to Active Maldon this is a free event but advanced booking is essential.  Places are limited.  If you book a place and are no longer able to attend, please let us know so we can offer the place to someone else.
