About the event
Hatfield Forest is a 1,000+ acre Site of Special Scientific Interest and comprises ancient coppices, woodland, green open spaces and a lake. The length of the walk will depend on the weather and walkers’ preferences. Meet in the grassed Elgins car park, accessed via the main forest entrance, at 9.45am for a 10.00am start. There’s a charge of £9 by bank card for each car without a National Trust member in it. Refreshments and toilets will be available after the walk.
Appropriate “autumnal” clothing and walking boots/shoes are recommended.
