About the event

Drop in for some nature-themed fun, with lots for little ones to explore. There will be natural sensory items to discover, small world play, role-play, and sand and water play. We'll be using natural materials to make some festive decorations to take home.

This is a drop-in session, come when you like between 9.30 and 11.30 am. Children remain your responsibility and must be supervised by an adult at all times.

๐ŸฅพWhat should we wear?

In winter, we suggest warm layers that you don't mind getting mucky. Year-round, bring a coat that will keep the wind out.  Boots and waterproofs are a good idea if rain is forecast. Some activities will take place on the grass outside the centre, so please dress for the weather, old clothes are best, as sometimes play can get messy!

We are located just north of Walton on the Naze, a coastal town in North Essex.

๐Ÿš—Is there parking?

Yes, charges apply for the car park, which is managed by Tendring District Council.

๐Ÿš‡Can we get to you on public transport?

We are a five-minute walk from the end of the line for Route 7 Konectbuses in Essex and Suffolk. The train station is approximately 1.5 miles walk along the seafront.

Toilets are located inside the visitor centre.
