Event booking terms and conditions

Terms and conditions for event bookings, refunds and transfers.

Places on all events must be booked and paid for in advance unless otherwise stated.

Refunds: Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Essex Wildlife Trust. Refunds will not be issued for personal circumstances, inability to attend or failure to arrive. If an event is cancelled, we will offer a full refund or an alternative event where possible. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method and may take up to 7 working days. Please review all event details carefully before booking.

Transfers: Tickets are non-transferable. They are issued in the name of the purchaser and cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for another event. No exceptions can be made for changes to the ticket holder’s name or for transferring tickets.

All events run subject to a minimum number of attendees. Decisions on whether an event will go ahead will be made at least 48 hours in advance. Events take place in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear. In cases of extreme weather or circumstances beyond our control, Essex Wildlife Trust will notify attendees as early as possible, either the day before or on the morning of the event, and will offer an alternative event or a full refund.
