About the event

Are you keen to explore your local wildlife, and get to know some of the precious green spaces in your local area, but do not know when or how to start? Then this may be ideal for you.

A very gentle walk in the woodland of our Danbury Ridge reserve Woodham Walter Common, beneath the bare trees just as they start to bud ahead of the busy spring season.

Listen to the first singing birds of the coming spring, and perhaps look overhead for busy parties of long tailed tits and finches.

Please park sensibly by the side of the road. Bring strong footwear and warm clothing. No facilities on site.

Thanks to Active Maldon this is a free event but advanced booking is essential.

Places are limited.  If you book a place and are no longer able to attend, please let us know so we can offer the place to someone else.
