In a repeat of his popular webinar from 2025, with some updates from community partners, and a Communications team makeover of the slides, Community Ranger John Attiwell looks forward to welcoming you to talk all things garden pond. 

Take a deep dive into freshwater ecology, learning about the creatures that lurk beneath the still, shallow water, and the plants we can use to give them a helping hand. Many experts say a Garden Pond is the single best way to increase garden biodiversity. 

Do look out for our follow-up event, in which we will be giving visitors the opportunity to participate in the management of one of the small ponds on one of our popular nature reserves.
