About the event
Challenge yourself this holiday! Do you have the skills to survive and thrive in the woodland?
This event will test and grow your knowledge whilst exploring wildlife. Our fun and hands-on session will involve a range of activities, including den building, fire lighting, tree climbing, crafts, and more⦠We will finish with a campfire (weather permitting).
This is a family event, suitable for children aged 5+ years, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

π« Who needs a ticket?
This is a family event, all attendees, including adults and children require a ticket to attend.
πWhere do we meet?
Meeting instructions will be sent on booking. Please park in the Pelican Playground car park and follow the signs to the meeting point just inside the meadow.
π₯ΎWhat should we wear?
Most of our events are held outdoors, so please come dressed for the weather. We recommend layers (top and bottom), which can get mucky. Wellies (with thick socks) and waterproofs are a good shout if you have them.
π₯What should we bring? Is food provided?
Weather permitting, we will have a campfire at the end of the session. You are welcome to bring something to toast. Ideas include crumpets, little malt loaves, toasting tea cakes, sweet waffles, brioche, fruit, e.g., pineapple/mango. Anything you can warm through on a stick, really β we provide toasting forks. No uncooked meat or nuts, please. Marshmallows and popcorn are not recommended for children under the age of 5.
πWhere are you based?
We are located in Chigwell, close to Loughton, Debden, and Epping.
πIs there parking?
Yes. We have two large free car parks.
π»Are there toilets?
Yes. The Grange Farm Centre has toilets. There are no other facilities on site.

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
