Arthur Whiston 5-mile run raises £2,253 for Essex Wildlife Trust
250 runners joined the Arthur Whiston 5-mile run, raising £2,253 for Essex Wildlife Trust in his memory. The funds will help protect Essex's wild spaces and wildlife.
The race was held in memory of long-time Harriers member and local athletics champion Arthur Whiston, marking the first anniversary of his sudden passing. Arthur was an integral part of the community and a passionate supporter of Essex Wildlife Trust.
In his honour, all proceeds, an amazing £2,253, will help protect Essex's precious wild spaces and the wildlife that depends on them.
A heartfelt thank you to Colchester Harriers for their exceptional organisation, and to every runner, volunteer, and supporter who made the event so special. Your generosity helping to keep Essex wild!
