Essex Wildlife Trust is pleased to announce that Tim Young and Paul Roberts are joining the Trustee board for the Trust.

James Wren, Chair of Trustees for Essex Wildlife Trust, says:

"We already have a strong Board, and the addition of Paul and Tim will make us even stronger. As we look ahead to 2030, nature demands greater ambition from all of us - and our new Treasurer and Trustee will be key to helping the Trust rise to that challenge.

On behalf of the entire Trust, I'd also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Bob Holmes, our outgoing Treasurer, and Keeley Hazelhurst, our former Chair and Treasurer. Their dedication has been extraordinary, and we are deeply grateful for their service. Paul and Tim will be stepping into their roles from the next Board meeting, and we're excited for what lies ahead."

A note from our Chief Executive, Rich Yates

"I'm very excited that Paul Roberts and Tim Young have come on board as our new Trustees. They have experience and expertise that will be crucial to the Trust's success over the coming years. I'm particularly encouraged by the fact that Paul has been the Chair of our Chelmsford Local Group for several years, and both Tim and Paul are Trust volunteers. It shows the strength of our community."
