About the event

Reprising his popular Webinar from last year, hopefully with a few updates, John will be discussing the star of Christmas cards, a bird steeped in folklore and cultural significance, the Robin.  

Explore the stories associated with robins, and get to know some of their relatives around the world. John will explore the ecology and behavior of this charismatic little songster, and re-examine its feisty reputation, and discuss how to welcome robins into our gardens and community spaces, at Christmas and year-round, in an upbeat and festive celebration of Britain’s favorite bird.

 Look out for our follow-up event in which we will learn to build and install nest boxes for robins and other familiar bird species.
