Thameside Nature Discovery Centre is situated on the Thames Estuary and is fantastic for family days out, bird and ship watching, historical interest and getting away from the hustle and bustle.
The views across the Thames Estuary are stunning, especially from our fully accessible rooftop viewing deck which offers 360-degree views of the Nature Park and Thames.
The Nature Discovery Centre is just a 10-minute drive from the A13 near the Manorway Junction then a short drive up a picturesque, single-track road to the Centre where there is a large car park with disabled parking bays. The building has accessible toilets and baby changing facilities.
The meeting room can be hired for a wide range of events, from meetings to corporate events and private parties. It is also hired out for art clubs, wildlife seminars and social occasions. Seating is comfortable for 20 in a theatre or boardroom style set up.
This Includes access to WiFi, a 51 inch HD LED TV with HDMI cable for presenting from your laptop, projector and screen, flip charts and pens available.
The meeting room is available to hire 7 days a week for a full day, half day or hourly from 9am to 5pm.
Catering and Guided Walks
We have a cafe on site serving hot and cold drinks, Tiptree patisserie cakes, sandwiches and toasties.
We can also offer catering for your event/meeting and guided walks (subject to availability), quotes can be supplied at request.
