About the event
Become a detective this Easter school holiday and discover who broke the bird eggs. Follow the trail and complete the activities as you fill in your Deadly Scene Investigation notebook.
On your return, you will receive a certificate and a badge, and have the opportunity to investigate our animal artefacts if you would like!
This is a drop-in session; please arrive any time within your time slot.

FAQs
🎫Who needs a ticket?
Children aged 18 months+ will require a ticket to attend. Adults do not require a ticket.
🌳Will the activities take place outside?
Yes, activities will be outside. The crafts will take place in our shelter, so it is protected from rain - but still outdoors.
🌍Where are you based?
We are based in North Essex, local to Colchester.
🥜My Child Has Allergies. Will they be able to eat the snack?
Allergen information is provided by you at the time of booking- we will make sure there is a suitable option for participants who have provided allergen details on their booking.
🥾What should we wear?
Please dress for being outside - lots of layers. If it has been raining, the paths will be muddy and have lots of puddles, so wellies or boots are advised.
☕Is there a Cafe or shop?
The visitor centre has a shop and café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream, and light lunches.
🐕🦺Can we bring a dog?
Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
♿Will the event be accessible?
Our trail follows one of our accessible gravel paths, so it is suitable for buggies and wheelchairs. There is also ramp access to the shelter
