About the event
Join us this Easter school holiday for this unique opportunity, where we'll discover the wildlife of Thameside as the sun sets, with bug hunting, forest fun, and a campfire (weather permitting - we will send an email of food suggestions for toasting after booking).
Suitable for over 5s accompanied by an adult.

๐Where do we meet?
This event takes place near the Cottage Car Park for Thameside Nature Discovery Park. This is at the entrance of the site before you go through the gate.
What should we bring? Is food provided?
Weather permitting, we will have a campfire at the end of the session. You are welcome to bring something to toast. Ideas include: crumpets, little malt loaves, toasting tea cakes, sweet waffles, brioche, fruit, e.g,. pineapple/mango. Anything you can warm through on a stick, really โ we provide toasting forks. No uncooked meat or nuts, please. Marshmallows and popcorn are not recommended for children under the age of 5.
๐ฅพWhat should we wear?
Most of our events are held outdoors, so please come dressed for the weather. We recommend layers (top and bottom), which can get mucky. Wellies (with thick socks) and waterproofs are a good shout if you have them.

We are located in Thurrock, between East Tilbury and Stanford-le-Hope
๐Is there parking?
Yes. We have a large free car park.

Yes, there is a toilet located in the cottage.

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
