About the event
Join in the fun with our W.o.W. Week of Wildlife this May half-term!
A special of our popular Nature Tots session. Get making in the mud kitchen, go hunting for worms, master the giant marble run, read in the quiet corner, and so much more! This session is aimed at children aged 18 months to 5 years. The group is designed so that you can arrive when your little one is ready to begin joining our outdoor free play. We will have a themed adventure halfway through the session.
This is a one-off Nature Tots session. If you are interested in our regular Nature Tots groups, then find out more information here!

FAQs
๐ณWill we be outside?
Yes, we will be outside for the whole session, so please dress appropriately for the outdoors. There is an outdoor shelter to provide some cover.
๐What shall I bring?
We recommend bringing snacks to the session, as children get hungry! Wellies and puddle suits are a great idea if you have them. The children will likely play with the mud kitchen and puddles, so wear something you don't mind getting muddy.

We are based in North Essex, local to Colchester.
๐ Is there parking?
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the Nature Discovery Park.
๐ฅWhat should we bring? Is food provided?
Weather permitting, we will have a campfire at the end of the session. You are welcome to bring something to toast. Ideas include crumpets, little malt loaves, toasting tea cakes, sweet waffles, brioche, fruit, e.g, pineapple/mango. Anything you can warm through on a stick, really โ we provide toasting forks. No uncooked meat or nuts, please. Marshmallows and popcorn are not recommended for children under the age of 5.

Yes, the shelter has ramp access, and all the routes we may take on our adventure are accessible
