About the event

An adventure full of fun in our wonderful woodland setting! Join us this summer for a whole host of outdoor activities, where little ones can enjoy swinging in the hammock, be creative with our Easter craft, dig in the mud kitchen, look for minibeasts, and so much more! We will finish the session around the cosy campfire (weather permitting).  Suitable for children aged 18 months - 5 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Session times: 10am - 11:30am (please arrive at beginning of session)

Tickets are £8.80 per child. Advance booking is essential.

📍Where do we meet? 

Meeting instructions will be sent on booking. Please Park in the Pelican Playground car park and follow the signs to the meeting point just inside the meadow.       

🌳Will the activities take place outside?  

Yes, we will be outside for the whole session. 

🌍Where are you based?  

We are located in Chigwell, close to Loughton, Debden, and Epping.   

🚗Is there parking?     

Yes, we have two large free car parks 

🔥What should we bring? Is food provided?  (campfire dependent on weather) 

 Snack and a drink if you wish. No nuts please. Weather permitting, we will have a fire and you are welcome to bring something to toast. Things we like to toast: toasted tea cakes, brioche, slices of malt loaf, crumpet (some people cut these into triangles), fruit, cooked cocktail sausages, waffles, garlic bread, small cheese sandwiches. Anything you can warm/toast on a stick really! We provide toasting forks. 

🥾What should we wear?  

Please dress for being outside - lots of layers. If it has been raining, the paths will be muddy and have lots of puddles, so wellies or boots are advised. 

🚻Are there toilets?                                                                                                      

Yes, the Grange Farm Centre has toilets. There are no other facilities on site.   

☕ Is there a café or a shop? 

There is not a café or a shop at Grange farm, but you are more than welcome to bring snacks with you. 

🐕‍🦺Can we bring a dog?  

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.  

♿Will the event be accessible? 

Grange Farm (including the woodland) is accessible to wheelchair users and buggies alike. A large disabled toilet with baby changing facilities is available in the centre.
