About the event

Thank you to everybody that took part in Running Wild 2025! 

We will be returning on Saturday 11 July 2026 - further details will be posted here shortly. In the meantime, if you would like to register your interest, please email fundraise@essexwt.org.uk and we'll let you know when registration opens.

Are you ready to Run Wild for wildlife? Suitable for all abilities and open to ages 13+ , this is the ultimate challenge to take on with friends, family, colleagues, teammates – or come along and meet new people!

When: From 10am, Saturday 11 July

Where: Wild Forest, Parsonage Farm, Ongar Road, Brentwood, Essex CM15 0LA

What: A 5K packed full of obstacles, water, climbing, sliding – and lots of mud!

Registration fee: TBC

Fundraising pledge: £100

Held at the award-winning Nuclear Races site, Running Wild is a 5K muddy obstacle course that everyone can take part in. Climb over, crawl through and jump across some crazy obstacles, before finishing in style with the famous 20-foot Deathslide into a lake!

Participants will receive:

  • A place in Running Wild 2026
  • A Running Wild medal
  • Free post-race hot drink
  • Free onsite parking
  • A post-race shower
  • A digital fundraising guide

By fundraising for Essex Wildlife Trust, you will be doing something amazing for the wildlife and wild places of Essex. You will be helping us create a brighter, wilder future.
