About the event

Join wildlife photographer Neil Phillips to photograph the wonderful spectacle of Snowdrops at Warley Place. 

Before the session, there will be a 30-minute online presentation on the evening of Thursday, 12th February, covering a range of useful tips and techniques. The presentation will be recorded, so you can watch it later if you’re unable to attend live or would like to revisit it. This presentation is included in your ticket price.

The practical, in-person session will take place at Warley Place on Saturday, 14th February, where you’ll have the opportunity to put what you’ve learned into practice.

The course is suitable for those with some prior photography knowledge (such as ISO, shutter speed, and aperture). Neil will also recap key basics during the presentation as a refresher. The main focus of the session will be on how to take better photographs of flowers, with guidance on composition, settings, and technique.

Participants are encouraged to bring a bridge, DSLR, or mirrorless camera. A macro lens or close-up adapter/mode is recommended (most bridge cameras include a macro mode).
