We’re excited to offer you the chance to welcome wildlife into your garden with our competition to win one of two handcrafted bird boxes! Perfect for nature lovers, these bird boxes provide a safe and cosy home for a variety of garden birds, from wrens and robins to blue tits and sparrows.
Each bird box is designed with care, made from durable, weather-resistant materials, and thoughtfully crafted to encourage nesting while blending beautifully into your garden or outdoor space. Not only will you be providing a home for our feathered friends, but you’ll also be helping to support local wildlife and create a vibrant garden habitat.

Terms and Conditions
The competition is open to residents of Essex, aged 18 years or over except employees of Essex Wildlife Trust. As well as their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

Prizes must be collected from a Nature Discovery Centre.
Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
Closing date for entry will be Saturday 21 February 2026. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
Essex Wildlife Trust reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in an extreme event. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
The prize is as follows: a nest box to be collected from a Nature Discovery Centre. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferrable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Two winners will be chosen Monday 23 February 2026 at 10am. At random, by software.
The winners will be notified by email within 24 hours of the winners be drawn. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 48 hours of being contacted, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and another winner will be chosen.
Essex Wildlife Trust will notify the winner when the prize can be collected from their chosen Nature Discovery Centre.
