Land secured at Wrabness

Land secured at Wrabness

Land now purchased thanks to £50,000 raised to restore habitats and protect endangered species.

Following the successful appeal in December, we are excited to share that the land purchase at Wrabness nature reserve has been completed! This is a fantastic milestone not just for the reserve but also for everyone who supported the appeal.

Over the next six months, we will be organising a handover of land and planning a number of improvements for nature. These will include scrub creation and wet grassland restoration, designed to enhance the habitats.

The new land will help restore and protect habitats along with supporting some of the UK's most endangered species, including the nightingale and turtle dove.

This is all thanks to the generosity of our supporters, demonstrating what can be accomplished when our community comes together for nature. In record time, you helped us to meet our target of £30,000 - and fundraised £50,000!

We can't wait to share our updates for Wrabness nature reserve as the habitats grow over the coming seasons.
