Use gardening gloves or a litter picker if you can, but always be careful of sharp or dangerous objects. Avoid needles, electrical items, anything with potentially dangerous chemicals or human waste (like nappies). If you’re not sure what something is, don’t pick it up. If you’ve touched any litter, wash your hands afterwards. Please note, taking part in Spring Pickers is at your own risk.
