About the event

Young Rangers is a volunteer conservation group specifically for 13-17 year olds. It is designed for teenagers looking to gain practical conservation and survey experience either for their Duke of Edinburgh award or to help them towards a career in the conservation sector.

The group runs the first Saturday of every month except August, 10am-2pm. Past tasks include hedge trimming, tree planting, pond and flower surveys, coppicing willow and so much more!

Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult as long as a drop-off form has been completed. They will need to have sensible footwear and clothing as we go out in all weathers and bring a pack lunch.

There is no cost but spaces are limited so booking is essential.
