This walk to the remote Stone Point peninsular may reveal our last remaining wintering birds, joined by "Passage Migrants" which stop off to "refuel" on their journey to breeding grounds in the high arctic.

About the event

Little Terns, for which The Naze is an important site, may also be present though they can be elusive.

Please be aware that this walk will take up to 3 hours and is 5 miles in length. It will involve walking over soft sand, salt marsh and mud, please wear suitable footwear, appropriate clothing and bring some water with you. Most importantly don’t forget your binoculars!

Possible sightings of various different wildlife may occur. Please note that wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
