Play, Ropes and Tools Forest Skills Day
About the event
We will be exploring different play theories such as Playwork principals and the importance of play to the physical, cognitive and social development of children and provide you with skills and information to become an ambassador for the rights of the child to play (especially in a Forest School setting). We will also revisit a variety of commonly used tools in Forest School, from butter knives, bow saws and knives and use ropes to practice knots to make natural toys to facilitate the therapy of play in Forest School.
