This course will be run within government restrictions and guidelines. If restrictions stop face to face delivery we will work flexibly to provide you with training virtually for the theory until face to face training can resume.
This is a four day course to equip you with skills and ongoing support to complete a workbook and assist with Forest School sessions to become a qualified Forest School assistant.
Course dates: 20, 21 October & 10, 11 November 9am-4pm each day
Course content: This course develops practical skills to become a qualified Forest School Assistant. Learn to use the woodland as a sustainable resource and explore the theoretical side of learning and play at Forest School. It also provides an opportunity to top up to level 3 at a later date.
Three days of training and one tool skills day, plus assisting with planning and delivery of minimum of six Forest Schools Sessions. There are four Units of Study at Level 2 and completion of a booklet that takes place during the course and whilst assisting a Forest School Practitioner with planning and delivery of Forest School programmes.
Course costs: £480.00 per person (inc VAT & deposit).
Before applying for this course, you must have a Forest School run by a Level 3 Qualified Forest School leader that has confirmed you can assist with sessions for the course.
