Summer Cyanotype Workshop for Young Creators (2-Day Programme)
Theme: Nature Prints & Sun Magic

Join us this summer for a creative two-day cyanotype workshop designed for young people to explore photography, nature, and alternative printing in a fun and hands-on way.

Guided by the theme “Nature Prints & Sun Magic”, children will discover how sunlight can transform everyday objects into beautiful blue artworks — capturing shapes, patterns, and textures from the world around them.

Day 1 – Explore & Create
Children will be introduced to the magic of cyanotype printing using pre-prepared materials. We’ll head out (weather permitting) to gather natural objects such as leaves, grasses, and textures from the landscape, before returning to create their own prints using sunlight.

Day 2 – Develop & Experiment
Building on day one, children will expand their creativity by printing onto a wider range of pre-prepared materials, including fabric, wood, and natural surfaces. They will explore layering, composition, and playful ways of creating their own unique designs.

Participants are welcome to bring their own objects to print with, encouraging imagination and personal expression.

This workshop offers a calm, supportive space for young creatives to experiment, build confidence, and enjoy the simple joy of making — leaving with a collection of unique handmade prints.

All materials are included and fully prepared in advance.
